After graduating from the University of London with a degree in Geology, I began to involve myself in Film & TV Production. Further to working for a couple of years behind the camera (on occasions as a Director and Editor), I began to realise my heart was truly more focused on being a performance artist of some kind and took my first acting workshop, through sheer curiosity, at the City Literary Institute in London's Covent Garden. From there I discovered I thoroughly enjoyed the acting process and had great potential to take it further.

Thus started an adventure of discovery, developing my own independent and comprehensive training program, developing all areas of acting, singing & dance, specialising in acting. I did this through various workshops covering all aspects of acting, for example, improvisation, physical acting, voice, movement, physical theatre etc at The City Lit, including the 2 year Acting Course. From there, I combined workshops at The Actors Centre in London & more predominantly ongoing, exploratory workshops with international coach and lifetime member of New York's famous Actors Studio, Jack Waltzer in both London and New York, from 1996 to the present day (Jack is personal coach to Sigourney Weaver, Dustin Hoffman et al). Jack himself trained intensively and directly for many years with America's foremost teachers and directors of the Stanislavsky System, whose methods he adopts in his coaching. These include Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Bobby Lewis, Uta Hagen and Elia Kazan, among others. I am a great believer in entirely immersing myself in my craft, to continually and never endingly grow as an actor towards the life-long goal of continued expansion of mastery.

More recently I have been additionally training in New York with British award winning Director John Osborne Hughes in his ongoing comprehensive workshop The Spiritual Psychology of Acting - a unique fusion of the system of Stanislavski, cutting-edge psychology and spiritual practice, with profound results, not only in my craft, but in my life in general.

At the same time, I have consistently worked 'across the board' in a diverse number of productions, gaining my British Actors' Equity union card very quickly and early on in the process . Work to date includes numerous theatre productions (New York, London & Edinburgh), the low budget/Independant film & TV market and a number of TV commercials (including Coca Cola) and corporate videos/Industrials, notching extensive credits. I recently had a principal role in Warner Bros' new feature film August Rush, which has given me the opportunity to join the Screen Actors' Guild (SAG). My portfolio of work ranges from contemporary to classic genres, from serious, emotionally challenging dramas, to action films to comedy, from supporting roles, to leading/principal roles to ensemble work, from classic theatre, to physical off-the wall stage work to feature films/TV. I have been fortunate to play a diverse range of challenging roles which include Abraham Lincoln, a sadistic bounty hunter, a Native American rapper, Dr Frankenstein, a con-man, Lord Byron, Dorian Gray, a deluded psycho, a welsh nerd and a romantic, heroic lead , to name a few.

I approach my craft as a team player with flexibility, enthusiasm & passion, commited to creating outstanding results in sincere service to the greater good of the project as a whole.

My purpose as an artist is to enjoy my life, serving society, by helping open the heart and raise the level of consciousness in people through revealing the truth. As an artist, as a portal to Universal Consciousness, the audience is put into a state of aesthetic arrest. This leads people to re-connect with their humanity and in turn, through inspiration, rediscover 'treasures' that lie dormant within themselves and ultimately through individual action, make the Universal a more unified and blissful place.

To date I have re-located from London to New York City & Los Angeles (bi-coastal), but plan to be working both sides of the Atlantic as and where my career takes me, open to opportunity both in the UK, USA & indeed worldwide..
