Hello and welcome to my online Professional Actor showcase.

Having worked extensively on the London & New York stage, I am currently debuting in Los Angeles (till July 25th 2009) with an exciting new play titled "Endless Equinox", produced by multiple award winning & further nominated theatre company Grove Theater Center. A romantic comedy about a very uncommon romantic triangle. Set in the early 1920s in England I play the dashing yet tormented mountaineer, George Mallory- who was the first to attempt to scale Mount Everest & who coined the phrase "Because it's there". More information can be found at www.gtc.org.

Casting has been broad & diverse in the many different 'types' of characters I've played:

Previous Theatre credits include the title roles in The Tragedy of Abraham Lincoln (New York) and Frankenstein (London), George Gibbs in Our Town, Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet, Lord Byron in Bloody Poetry, Tom in Tom's Underwater Adventure and many more besides.

Numerous iIndependant Film credits include roles ranging from a vampire to a hit man to a homeless person to a psychopath to Dorian Gray to a con man to a Welsh nerd to various heroic, romantic 'Leading Men'. Most recently I was cast in a principal role in Warner Brothers' feature film August Rush. See the 'Video' section of this site or the home page to view my demo reels, scenes from movies and even some full length short films I've completed..

My 'Prototypes' which I have been often likened to is Hugh Jackman and a 'young' Liam Neeson.

Training has been extensive, comprehensive & ongoing (I very much believe in consistently 'working out' my acting 'muscles' between jobs, to keep my instrument in optimum shape). I am a great believer in entirely immersing myself in my craft, to continually and never endingly grow as an actor towards the life-long goal of continued expansion of mastery. Training extends between London, New York and Los Angeles.

Training has included the 2 year Acting Program at The City Literary Institute combined with workshops at The Actors Centre in London. From there, I studied extensively with international coach and lifetime member of New York's famous Actors Studio, Jack Waltzer in both London and New York (Jack is personal coach to Sigourney Weaver, Dustin Hoffman et al). Jack himself trained intensively and directly for many years with America's foremost teachers and directors of the Stanislavsky System, whose methods he adopts in his coaching. These include Stella Adler, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Bobby Lewis, Uta Hagen and Elia Kazan, among others.

More recently I finished the complete professional acting training program in New York with British award winning Director John Osborne Hughes in his comprehensive course The Spiritual Psychology of Acting - a uniquely powerful fusion of the system of Stanislavski, cutting-edge psychology and meditation.

My portfolio of work ranges from contemporary to classic genres, from serious, emotionally challenging dramas, to action films to comedy, from supporting roles, to leading/principal roles to ensemble work, from classic theatre, to physical off-the wall stage work to feature films/TV.

I am also currently in the process of writing & directing some new short films.

I am passionate about my work as an artist, commited to creating outstanding results in sincere service to the greater good of the project as a whole.

To date I live between London, New York City & Los Angeles (though LA is my primary home for now), but plan to be working wherever my career takes me, open to opportunity both in the UK, USA & indeed worldwide..

Watch this space!

Love and respect,
